Track Record Since Introducing Green Management
Per unit electricity consumption trended downward and we are achieving our target of a 1% year-on-year reduction.
Comparing 2019 with the period before the introduction of green management, although the total volume of cargo handled has grown by 42.2%, the volume of electricity used has only risen by 18.8% and there has been a significant fall in per unit electricity consumption of about 16.2%. These show that we are steadily improving energy efficiency.
Per unit energy consumption:
An indicator showing how much electricity is used to handle one ton of cargo. (Lower values express better energy efficiency)
- Per unit energy consumption for one year
- Cargo handled over the year/
