- SDG Initiatives
The SDGs are international development goals to be worked on from 2016 to 2030 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations.
They comprise 17 goals and 169 targets and require governments, institutions and companies to realize their social responsibilities and work toward a sustainable society.
Since our founding in 1948, YOKOREI has provided a stable supply of safe and reliable food under our corporate policy of "companies are social institutions and profits are a measure of their service." The business activities we have been advancing correspond well with the mission of the SDGs and going forward, we will use the SDG goals and targets as references as we evaluate and improve our business
